Background Information
I am a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a major
interest in breast cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction,
although I do provide other cosmetic services. Until
recently I worked at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals
as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. I am now employed as
a full time consultant at the Countess of Chester NHS
Foundation Trust where I hope to further develop the
breast reconstruction service. I have also recently
been accepted as a member of the British Association
of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
I trained in London at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical
School as a medical student and also completed my basic
surgical training in London. I started my career in
plastic surgery in 1992 at the Royal Preston Hospital
and then conducted research as a Duke of Kent research
fellow in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
I completed my training at the Mersey Rotation and acquired
further skills in breast cosmetics and reconstruction
at the Countess of Chester where I now practice as a
full time Consultant. I have also spent time at the
University of Ghent, Belgium to further develop my skills
in breast cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
